Lots of sugar flowers were created in the Sugar Ruffles studio this week for a variety of wedding and celebration cakes
Firstly some pretty dusky pink roses were created for this 3-tier lace wedding cake for the wedding of Catherine and Christian at Clarence House Dalton. The shade of dusky pink was created to match the pink of the bridesmaids dresses.
Next was one of our popular 'box of flowers' cakes which was created for my Mums birthday. The ivory 'box' was filled with sugar flowers including pink roses, white and purple blossoms and a white peony. The cake was our delicious new flavour- white chocolate and passionfruit.
Dusky pink & ivory roses and peony sugar flowers topped this pretty vanilla bean Golden Wedding Anniversary cake. The cake was wrapped in edible lace and featured gold sparkling lettering.
Beautiful red roses, hearts and butterflies decorated this cupcake tower which was created for a romantic Valentines day wedding at Barrow Cricket Club.
