The cake features scalloped detail with silver and pearl details and large statement peonies.

The open peony sugar flowers contain beautiful silver stamens- continuing the silver theme throughout the cake.

The scalloped mould used in this cake can be purchased here.

  1. It's stunning - it looks traditional mixed with modern - love the silver frame as a backdrop!

My Brothers Wedding Cake

A ruffle wedding cake topped with sugar succulents and white sugar roses, made for my brothers wedding at Artisan restaurant, along with individually boxed caramel cupcake wedding favours for each guest.

Congratulations Richard and Evee! It was lovely being a part of your special day. Richard and Evee cutting the cake!

Glacier Gray

Glacier gray has been chosen as one of Pantone's colours of spring 2015.
PANTONE describes Glacier Gray as "an unobtrusive gray that contrasts and enhances; bouncing off other shades without taking away from them as it slips into the background to allow other colors to take center stage".
This makes it the perfect choice for weddings. It can be used as a neutral in its own right or paired with more vibrant colours such as yellow, coral and purple.
